EDUCATION FROM AN INTERDISCIPLINARY APPROACH. A CHALLENGE FOR ADULT EDUCATION

Abstract

One of the challenges of Cuban education is to achieve quality education to help educate schoolchildren, adolescents, young people and adults in agreement with society. Cuban society has a responsibility to train the new generations. This important task of the school should be understood as one of the main educational aspects of its raison d’être. The changes made in Adult Education as a sub-system of the Cuban education system take account of the establishment of interdisciplinary relations in a given area of knowledge, in which shortcomings exist in the development of the teaching and learning process in natural sciences, which limit the proper application of the details and aspirations that make it possible to improve it. In order to meet this challenge, a methodology is developed to help develop this process, so as to improve the preparation of the teaching community in line with the current requirements of this education. The relevance and feasibility of the proposal for its implementation was found through the different methods of investigation, which made it possible to verify the transformation of the subject matter of the investigation.
