Creativity, (c) torturing and dialogism: MEEF Master’s memory, a mirror of mental experience?

Abstract

The writing of a master’s memory signs at the same time, for most students who commit to in this journey, entering the search and entering long writing. Our project is: seek to understand, on the basis of the analysis of successive writers of the students, the extent to which the writing memory – as a product – is likely to reveal the nature of a process in which master students may or may not allow the emergence of a clean voice from the voices of others. In other words, it is for us to seek to identify some of the language marks of a this is becoming a reality, which we therefore call (c) torturing. Some notable language forms, such as pronominal hesitation between me and us or between we and we show the tensions borne by the subject writing researcher, in particular between integration into a discursive community and emergence of the author subject, between objective withdrawal and personal involvement, but not sufficient to ensure a successful outcome of the negotiation process dialogical to develop one’s own voice from those of others. Others, on the other hand, relating to the integration of sources or the epistemic status of assertions by for example, may reflect differences in the – more or less creative – attitude of the scriptor. The master’s memory could thus bear the traces of a form of (c) torturing and reveal something about how you become – or not – author.
