Abstract
This communication was presented orally, with the support of the National Council for Scientific and Technological Development (CNPq) on June 03, 2018, during the Third Session (Section 3A) coordinated by Prof.Dr.Eric Lohr at the international Krakow Meetings event: IX Krakow Conferences on Russian Philosophy (Eugene Trubetskoy: ICON and Philosophy), organised by the Pontifical University of John Paul II in Krakow, which took place on June 03-06, 2018, in Tyniec Abadia beneditin, Krakow. The communication presented here is part of the reflections on the relationship between ethics, art, image, society and religion, which form the central axis of research supported by the CNPq Productivity Exchange. There, from a dialogue with the theology and philosophy of Pavel Florensky’s icon, we look at the issue of the presence of religious icons in the cinema of Andrei Tarkovski, their meaning and meaning within the director’s image and art design, a vision marked by dialogue with God.
