Abstract
The following document seeks to integrate a reflection on the standardised meanings that certain concepts acquire when introduced in school. In this case, we rely on the research project ‘Teaching and Equity of Gender: a look at school daily lives’, which began in 2006 and continues to generate knowledge from schools in the city of Luján, province of Argentina. The aim was to ensure the implicit and explicit meaning of the word ‘containment’ within the schools where fieldwork is carried out.
