Abstract
Contrary to the still well-established view, the geographical conditions of human actions must be viewed from a socio-geographical point of view, that is to say, primarily as a social product and only in the alternative as a biophysical condition. Such an ontological status of the anthropocene era means that geographical social transformations are highly important for all ways of making geography, which in turn are fundamental to social change and transformations.
