Abstract
One of the first steps to work on Intercultural Education, there can be no doubt that the knowledge of the reality of the other is. And in this regard, what do we know about the history, customs and traditions of the Roma people? Will we not be educatively acting through stereotypes and prejudices? However, our aim is to try to bring us closer to just a few aspects of their historical reality, which are so poorly known. A reality that allows us to incorporate it into Spain’s own history and, in turn, makes it easier for us to better understand its customs and traditions. In short, we will take a step closer to coexistence.
