Abstract
This article presents the network of the child imaginary, a virtual tool, proposed for the Brazilian Children’s Museum, whose function is to store a collection of cultural productions of children, researchers and community people. Such a network will feed into the cultural area and be enriched by it. It will accumulate data on the intangible and material universal and local patrimony. The network of the child imaginary is supported in the intercultural education approach and will enable an exchange between children’s cultural venues in Brazil and the world, creating communication between children and their peers, inhabitants of various localities. It is of particular interest to register Latin American hybrid culture, including it in universal culture. The imaginary network is initially known in Santa Catarina, initially accumulating research results developed on cultural and aesthetic values of Caarinse children of different ethnicity.
