Abstract
The “MEC626 – Rapid Prototypage” course focuses on a learning activity called “Seminar” through which students co-produce quality French-speaking documentation which forms an important part of the course notes. As a socio-constructivist inspiration, this activity teaches students to use tools and develop know-how that will be useful to them in the exercise of their profession. In total, seven technologies are implemented to support the activity. These include a variety of search engines used to find the relevant information, software for the management of bibliographic entries used to classify information and produce a collective database and FTP transfer enabling documents to be exchanged and acting as a display case for work. The seminar not only enables students to familiarise themselves with the content of the field, but also provides them with an opportunity to master a range of ICT tools and methods, and to have a meaningful and relevant experience.
