In Brazil, prostate cancer is the second most signifi cant disease among men. This index is linked to the acceptance of clinical examinations for the detection of cancer. In response to this male chauvinist culture, campaigns were developed in Brazil called Blue November. An intervention was applied in the 1st, 2nd and 3rd years of high school, through the PIBID/Capes Program, having as the historical aspects of the movement, as well as the health of man.
