Abstract
Special education based on the Basic Education Chamber/National Education Council Act – CNE/CEB No 13.146/2015 (BRASIL, 2015) has been included in inclusive education policy to provide learners with equal and qualitative education in our society. Therefore, psychopedagogue plays an important role in this inclusion process. Helping teachers to focus on this differentiated approach makes them effectively deliver teaching and learning within the educational context. This was based on literature and exploratory research with the aim of clarifying to psychopedagogues the role of psychopedagogy in special and inclusive education. The results showed that, when we understand the educational need as well as the comorbidities presented by the individual, and we started from this point to provide educational inclusion, learning processes are positive. In this context, we have the satisfaction of the school institution to maintain the high self-esteem of both teachers and students, with teaching and learning procedures geared towards people with disabilities or disabilities/learning difficulties, with psychopedagogue as a mediator between related parties within the school institution.
