SUMMARY: This work proposes to study the celebration of Marujada at the Festa de Ossa dear do Rosário in Felício dos Santos, Minas Gerais, for the years 2003 to 2009. The central objective is to study the expression of the popular religiosity of local residents by means of historical research on the devotional practices carried out by the municipal marines. The methodology used was based on the literature review and analysis of documentary sources (minutes, files, inventories) costed by the public and private entities of the post. The literature used was based on authors of the festive religious theme, namely: Janconly; Kantor (2001), Amaral (1998) and Brandão (1974). The research suggests that the celebration of the Marujada in Felício dos Santos is a permeate manifestation of symbologies, yours, feelings, rituals that embrace the rituals festive at the Catholic Church, leading to the emergence of a syncretism of popular cultures.
