Where these data come from
Telemedicine in the treatment and prevention of cardiopathies

Abstract

The average mortality rate per acute myocardial infarction of mask and female sex is 108 deaths per 100 men, and 62 deaths per 100 women. In addition, it is important to implement new medical approaches that are effective in reducing these statistical data. In this sense, telemedicine, together with the current media, is a major ally in the prevention of such cardiopathy, in terms of disease prevention and early clinical findings. Thus, I described the effectiveness of telemedicine in the treatment and prevention of cardioglenic diseases by means of a literature review from 22 English-language articles obtained from the PubMed databases, selected using the Descriptors in Health Science (DECS): mHealth, eHealth and heart attack, with publication date criterion between 2014 and 2019. The results were based on physiological changes and the consequent reduction of cardioglenic morbimortality when associated with telemedicine compared to traditional medical care. In this context, it is worth mentioning that the most efficient method, as regards the telemedicine aspects, was to send text deletions to users, reminding them of practising themselves, of joining the proposed diets and of phasing out the use of tobacco. Tangible to this, it is important to note that the inclusion of that technology in the routine of those patients has led to a reduction in levels of fasting glycaemia, a decrease in blood pressure values, and the normalisation of the Corporate Mass Index (BMI). In another viés, electrocardiogram, in line with telemedicine, reduces the time of completion of Talent Examination by 20 %, which increases the odds of early diagnosis. In the light of the above, it has been found that telemedicine can be used as an innovative alternative both to control cardiophyde mortality and to increase the quality of life of society, as it can also prevent physiopatologies.
