Abstract
O This article aims to analyse, through a literature review and exploratory case study, some ethical dilemmas imposed by Artificial Intelligence and its human rights consequences. The purpose of the research problem is to investigate ethical dilemmas that have emerged from the use of Artificial Intelligence systems and how they relate to human rights violations, taking into account the ethical guidelines agreed by the European Union in 2019. On the basis of the guidelines, a desk and bibliographic research with qualitative analysis has been developed. Among the results are the need for regulation of Artificial Intelligence systems, which is able to normalise issues that have an impact on human rights, in order to mitigate their potential risks of violation and the challenge posed to this task, in view of the possible inhibitory impacts of regulation on technological innovation.
