Abstract

The aim of this work is to present some contributions from Freud’s psychology to Lacan on the woman’s enigma, starting from the pre-edipian phase, as well as the castration complex and complex of Édipo, directing research to the theoretical advances that Lacan presents us with his conceptions of quantum sexuation formulas. I will also look at the women’s camp and its way of enjoyment and love. Next, we will discuss the influences of these arrangements on the female way of love. The methodology used was the literature review of texts relating to the topic and the guiding argument is part of Lacan’s studies which state that there is no significance in the field of Other which means what is a woman or what is female. What is happening is a borehole, and this makes it possible for the woman to move between two fields, one philic and the other not all. As a consequence of that failure to define what is a woman, she remains in any way a query for something that delineises her existence and gives some contours to her femininity, which may trigger a trama of love and hatred with her maternal representative, and in the future with her partners. Starting from this, Lacan launches the concept of devastation. For women, love and devastation go hand in hand and go through their lives directly, bringing significant breakdowns into the soft relationships that they will take on later, which it reflects directly in our society.
