Abstract
This article analyses the narrative narrative of Rosa Montero’s trilogy aimed at children and young people: The barbarities of Barbara, The fantastic journey of Barbara and Barbara against the Doctor tusks. The purpose of this research is to identify the discursive strategies used in these three works where travelling, the external adventure of heroin and dream, the adventure that could be defined as internal, are two acts that are fungible and confused through both explicit and implicit strategies. Keywords: children’s and youth literature, discursive strategies, travel, dreams, fantasy.
