This work looks at the political positioning of the newspaper La Vanguardia, an official press body of the Socialist Party, in 1943. His behaviour is analysed before and after the State Golpe in June that year, based on his vision of the conservative government chaired by Ramón Castillo, first, and the military government led by General Pedro Ramírez, then. By extension, there is an approximation of the behaviour of Argentinian socialism vis-à-vis those administrations and the beginning of Juan Domingo Perón’s political life.
