Abstract
This article states that social stratification arises from our existence of religion, ideology, artistic creation, language, empirical science and formal science, throughout history, with the theoretical currents of sociology and psychology, the stigmatisation of complete social groups, even with their acceptance. Social stratification is a means of representing the inequality of social classes, given by the distribution of the economic power of capital and attributes of culture, education and socially valued customs.
