The ethnographic relationship in the field and in the desktop

Abstract

Feminist ethnography is characterised by a particular ethnographic relationship where effects and trust play a central role. The article analyses how these are developed and processed, while at the same time discussing how we take care of the distress and suffering of our interlocutors, both when we are face-to-face during the fieldwork and when we review notes and interviews in the desktop, in relation to a feminicide investigation.
