Les songs “Penny Lane” and “Strawberry Fields Forever” provide an insight into the theme of childhood in the Beatles. In a very different way, John Lennon and Paul McCartney rely on a visit to two real places of liverpoolians to resonate their fantasmagoric visions of the past, and to exploit the language (they work and who works them) from a genuine artistic perspective.
