Studying abroad: a risk mapping

Abstract

Knowing how to take risks is a challenge to human intelligence and resilience. The risks come from our own actions or are imposed on us. However, in the context of the globalisation of risks, international studies generate employment. Using individual and collective dialogue, we first identified and assessed risks relevant to study abroad, such as risk in destination and period, financial and legal risk, and also moral and return risk. The most important, according to this study, is the lack of financial assistance and tax information. Subsequently, we estimated the level and analysed the impact of these risks on students. Finally, we have proposed practical measures and advice, as observers, to address or minimise identified risks. If you have the means, do not hesitate to take this step. Cross-border exploration has become inevitable today.
