Abstract
The need to give the dictionary a new role in the process of teaching and language learning is driven by the paradigm shifts in this landscape, leading to a reformulation of the teaching materials that will be used in it. In the context of the Pedaglogical Lexicography, lexicographic repertoires must have specific characteristics based on aspects such as knowing the user for whom the work is intended, a linguistic description of the units collected and, in particular, an appropriate presentation of this information to the type of user and the specific purposes of using the repertoire. We propose, then, to put forward some reflections that have taken place in the draft DAELE [1], mainly in relation to information from the verb, which we understand as a fundamental lexical piece for a foreign trainee to be able to construct appropriate phrases in the LE. We will present some possible problems of this type of user and what have been the solutions proposed by the team working on the DAELE to solve them. [1] this is a newly developed web-based ELE learning dictionary which is being developed by the INFOLEX group at Universitat Pompeu Fabra.
