Aspectos vinculados ao turismo religioso como o trânsito entre o profano e o sagrado, entre turismo, peregrinação e hospitalidade têm se constituído em objeto de numerosos estudos realizados por pensadores do turismo e da religião, os quais revelam interfaces ou tensões conceituais cuja compreensão requer ainda novas e diversificadas abordagens analíticas. Sob essa perspectiva, o presente trabalho desenha um percurso reflexivo no sentido de contribuir na construção de um quadro teórico para pautar análises que tenham por objeto relações de hospitalidade em práticas religiosas como as romarias. Três núcleos conceituais são focalizados. O primeiro remete ao universo conceitual de espiritualidade, religiosidade e religião; o segundo delineia, de um lado, uma aproximação particularmente com conceitos de turismo centrados no deslocar-se em busca do novo, do outro, considerando que a motivação do romeiro estaria em experienciar uma relação com o sagrado; de outro lado, uma aproximação com a estrutura receptiva e organizacional, que seria própria à atividade turística. O terceiro núcleo recai sobre interações envoltas por desejos, expectativas, demandas, trocas, negociações, interações essas presentes nas relações de acolhimento ou de hospitalidade. Seeking to Build a Theoretical Reference Frame to Analyze the Hospitality in Pilgrimages - Aspects entailed to the religious tourism as the transit between the profane and the sacred, between the tourism, the pilgrimage and hospitality have been constituted in object of numerous studies done by thinkers of tourism and religion which reveal interfaces or conceptual tensions whose comprehension requires yet new and diversified analytical approaches. Under this perspective, the current project outlines a reflexive course on the sense of contributing to a construction of a theoretical frame to measure analyses which have as object hospitality relations in religious practices such as the pilgrimages. Three conceptual nucleuses are focused: the first alludes to the conceptual universe of spirituality, religiosity and religion. The second delineates, in one side, an approximation particularly with tourism concepts centered in dislocating itself seeking for something new and, on the other side, considering that the pilgrim’s motivation would be in experience a relationship with the sacred. On the other hand an approximation with the receptive and organizational structure which would be the self-touristic activity. The third nucleus relapses on interactions surrounded by hopes, expectations, demands, exchanges, and negotiations, interactions that are present in the relations of reception or the ones of hospitality.
