Abstract

Palabras clave: contacto lingüístico, dialogismo, indianización, teoría de la alteridad   Abstract In this article we propose a model to analyze the spanish language and culture in the Americas that focuses on language and cultural contact as they coexisted in the New World since earlier times. We design this model taking into consideration sociolinguistic elements and the semiotic theory of Mikhail Bakhtin’s dialogism and its key concepts of utterance, chronotope and alterity. Keywords: linguistic contact, dialogism, indianization, alterity
