Abstract
Talking about inequality forces us to delve into the different tools that seek to reduce it, as is the case with microcredits. The main objective is to present an approximation of the real impact that microcredits have on the improvement of the living conditions of a group of families in vulnerable areas of the Metropolitan Zone of Guadalajara, Mexico. Likewise, it seeks to argue some of the questions that arise about the parameters under which this type of loans are granted. As a reference point, we make the analysis of the information collected from different theoretical proposals that are in favor of or against the perception of microcredits as an ideal tool to reduce inequality.
