THE LABIRÍNTICAS NARRATIVE STRUCTURES IN LEMINKSI AND BORGES

Abstract

This research aims to study the narrative structures in metaformosis corpora: a trip by Greek imaginary (1994) by Paulo Leminski and El jardín from senderos bifurcan (2005 [1941]) by Jorge Luis Borges. Both Borges and Leminski were chosen for equestrian reasons, as these two authors, representatives of their national literatures, provide, in the selected works, a narrative embodied from the game with the words and their meanings, providing the reader with a path built through labyritic jellies. In this way, the analysis will be drawn up using the idea based on the existence of the dialogical relationship providing a metamorphic process in those texts in order to build paths that constantly open new interpretations and (re) meanings for each textual element presented. In Leminski’s text, through the eyes of the narrative and the character Narciso, a number of narratives of Greco-Roman mythology are seen that are taken up and shown to the reader in such a way that the new one appears, but always in continuous dialogue with the source chosen as the original. Already Borges unites characters, narrative and even the fictitious editor of the narrative in his rally to concure all the paths open and provided to the reader. A space that becomes laboritic as well as the man for the infinite provided by that literary vision of the world.
