Abstract
After 60 years of existence, Pakistan is still looking for an organic concord of the nation. The attempt by the military leadership of the State to sujenise the judiciary has plunged the country into a political crisis. The return to a civilian presidency, always personalised by Pervez Musharraf, and the holding of forthcoming general elections with dubious fairness, is not a guarantee of de-escalation of conflicts at a time when extremist forces are becoming increasingly terrible. A return on the sequence of events over the past few months and the positioning of the various players is intended to help break down the current challenges.
