When the (serious) game tells us stories

Abstract

Among the serious games available on the internet, we note that many of them not only place the user in the face of a game with a so-called ‘serious’ intention, but also cause him to plunge into a story. The purpose of our study is to describe how these serious games are written and to understand the structures and the articulation between their three narrative, playful and serious dimensions.
