Abstract
Este article deals with evasion in higher education with the aim of identifying and evaluating variables that would interfere with evasion to act proactively and preventively towards the public. The research developed is a quantitative approach, with multivariate analysis and logistic regression. As a result, variables impacting on evasion were identified, a profile of pupil prone to evading was developed and a statistical model was built that could predict, as accurately as possible, the probability of a pupil escaping. The most significant variables relate to social, economic, academic performance and professional choice factors.
