Abstract
This work analyses a problem raised very recently by the perpetrators of a logistics operator located in Villafría (Burgos). This operator works for a car component manufacturer, managing and carrying out the operations of delivery to customers and collection of raw materials. This model includes several strongly interacting levels of decision that ultimately aim at minimising the cost of these transactions (delivery of orders to customers and collection of raw material). Although it is apparently too specific and for a very specific situation, we believe that its analysis is interesting, since logistics operations are increasingly tending to be considered and analysed on a global rather than a case-by-case basis. Given the complexity of the model in this first work, it is described and a first and simple heural procedure is proposed for its resolution. Solutions obtained with actual data are analysed.
