Abstract
En its edition January-June 2017, Via Inveniendi et Iudicandi offers its readers of the articles ‘Military disciplinary law and human rights in Colombia’ 2004-2014” and “Compulsory military service to voluntary service”, which describe the relationship between the subject matter of military disciplinary law; human rights and compulsory military service. In addition, and with a view to highlighting the role of constitutional rights in the Colombian legal system, this edition provides the articles “Standards” Inter-American on freedom of expression towards officials and candidates to hold public office’ and ‘Freedom vs punitive populism: should they be respected human rights in criminal proceedings?’, all of this in order to confirm the importance of constitutional rights in the Colombian legal system. Finally, Via Inveniendi et Iudicandi offers our readers two themes: low appearance in scientific journals and research books: “Lawyers’ traineeship training in legal practice” and “Reflecting on the paradigm” of the entire public transport of Bogotá”, which, we hope, will be of the greatest interest to the academic community.
