Abstract
De is similar to what happens in mathematics, it is fundamental to be able to show the reason why a legal decision should be accepted. Assuming this analogy between the two disciplines, the article analyses different conceptions of the reasoning logic of mathematics, extends this reflection to the field of law and maintains that in both fields axiomes or principles are not chosen because they are self-evident truths, but that choice is largely determined by their implications. For each of these disciplines and the point where the analogy between them breaks.
