The Marine extrativist reserve Mocapba is located in the municipality of São Caetano de Odivelas, a coastal area of north-east Paraense. It is a unit that falls under the category of sustainable use, it forms part of a territorial area for self-sustainable exploitation and conservation of renewable natural resources. The aim of the work is to provide a spatial analysis of the landscape units of Resex Navy Mocapto help to provide subsidies for the environmental planning and spatial planning of the unit. Based on the theoretical and methodological geo-statistical assumptions and using data in vector formats and matrices that have been processed in the Geographic Information System environment, the information was cross-checked and 7 landscape units were obtained. These are: Geography of the Coastal Plain with Campos; Mangroze-based Coastal Plain Geosystem; Geographical Coastal Plain Human Coastal; Geosystem of the Coastal Plain with Restinga; Geography of the Tabuleiros with Campos; Geographical system of Tabuleiros with Capoeira and Exposed Land; Geosystem of Tabuleiros with Secondary Vegetation. Thus, the delimitation of landscape units has proved to be an important instrument for subsidising the development of a management plan which is one of the main management tools and the study unit does not yet have its own.
