Abstract
The author’s theory is that, with the crisis of the nation state and the social state in Europe, we are in the transition to a new historical and social training, known here as ‘transmodern’, to indicate fundamental discontinuities with previous training, which affirms a new principle of citizenship known as ‘societario’, quite different from modern (state). The article proposes to interpret this historical transition as a step from the symbolic and regulatory code of inclusion/exclusion to the relational/non-relational code, in which the principle of citizenship is referred to in a ‘corporate’ way, i.e. built through networks of associations of civil associations.
