Abstract
This work will seek to link sufism – called by some of the mystery of Islam – with the so-called revolutionary concept of Iranian shiism. It will be sought to establish such a link and, to some extent, to argue that Iranian shielism, with its characteristics that make it so specific, was the result of a debate within it, concerning ‘quietism’ or ‘revolutionary’ vision, which, inter alia, had religious leaders or sociologists such as Ali Shariati. Sufism will be of fundamental political importance to the historical development of Persia and, of course, the Islamic Revolution of Iran. The idea to reach shielism in Iran will be analysed below.
