Abstract
Objetivo: The article investigates mobilisations for patrimonialisation of LGBT related assets in Brazil and how the Information camp engages with it. Understands that, although concessional flexibility has occurred in recent decades, when it comes to the selection, recording and dissemination of patrimony related to LGBT cultural practices and productions, gaps, absences and silence have emerged. It uses as a case study attempts to recognise São Paulo’s LGBT Pride Parade as patrimonum. Method: Descriptive and exploratory research with a qualitative approach, with two types of sources being analysed: (1) scientific literature on the subject; (2) documents relating to Draft Law No 399/2017 of the Municipal Council of São Paulo and Draft Law No 176/2015 of the Legislative Assembly of São Paulo. Result: It explains the changes in the national camp of Patrimônio, the place of LGBT patrimonies in the production of Information Science and Museology in Brazil and the mobilisations surrounding the attempt to recognise the LGBT Pride Parade of São Paulo as the intangible cultural Patrimônio of the municipality and the State. Conclusions: The article highlights the importance of conducting LGBT-oriented studies in the field of Information, Museology and Patrimonium, observing the reverberations of patrimonialisation as an informational process.
