Abstract
This work looks at different views on the female body that articulates medieval heaths for women’s health care and investigates the extent to which women’s own perceptions of their bodies, and of their needs and concerns, are represented. To this end, I have analysed how this genus of Hebrew literature has addressed two key themes in the sexuation of bodies: menstruation and cosmetics.
