Abstract
Abstract According to the Author it is necessary to place the process of victimisation in the field that Germán Silva called ‘divergence’. The analysis of crime that is useful, it is possible to outline a continuum, scientifically identifiable and measurable, between situations in which the victimisation is intertwined with conditions of poverty or economic marginality, and other characterised by gross violations of human rights in which human dignity is endangered (this as slavery or forced labour). Key words: Sociology of Law, Empirical research, Criminology — Summary, according to the author, it is necessary to place the victimisation process in the camp called Germán Silva called ‘divergence’. Sociology analysis of the crime can be useful as it is possible to outline a scientifically identifiable and measurable continuum between situations where victimisation is intertwined to poverty or economic marginality, and other violations in which human dignity is endangered (such as slavery reduction or forced labour).
