Abstract

The article reflects on the duty of the Colombian state and society to build historical and collective memory as part of the duties towards the victims of the armed conflict, in the context of comprehensive reparation, the right to truth and compliance with measures of satisfaction and non-repetition. The latter two measures emphasise how art plays a key role in symbolic reparation, in the recovery of memory and dignification of the victims of the Colombian armed conflict through photography, painting and countermen.
