The following pages aim to give a rereading of the ideologists and the magazine of La Decade as the movement from which the political economy of Jean-Baptiste Say, who of these circles was a party and whose characters he marked. J.-B. Say will have contributed to his life during the establishment of the Republic without accepting official seats in the state apparatus, without titles of nobility (like many other ideologists).
