Abstract
Se aims to study the obligation on the Colombian State to restore the land that has been taken away from displaced persons who have been victims of the armed conflict, as part of the obligation to provide full reparation. Within this context, the problem of forced internal displacement in Colombia will be analysed on the basis of its history and identification of the rights of displaced persons and the regulation and case-law that has been issued in this area. The normality governing full reparation to victims and specifically the restitution of land, contained in Law 1448 of 2011, will also be analysed in order to identify its main components and the expectations and challenges involved in its practical application, so that it is not simply a right enshrined in the law as a mere illusion of victims, but a reality that brings about justice.
