This article explores the figure of the body on online profiles of men offering paid sex through three types of data. Statistical analysis of reporting information on the body and effective sexual practices makes it possible to approach the body, gender, race and sexuality sexuality system. Analysis of the images of the profiles shows, through five archetypale figures, the erotic staging of culturally and historically located images that serve as a decoration and conative function for interfaceted communication between escorts and customers. Finally, stakeholders’ speeches make it possible to update the mechanisms at stake leading to the information in the online profile sheets.
