Abstract
En Our country, municipal autonomy has been a topic that has long been a source of extensive debate. This work deals in particular with the discussion of the power of deliberative consents to declare a particular asset to be of public benefit and subject to expropriation. The investigation starts with the analysis of the guidelines contained in the National Constitution, extends to the current situation and the mechanisms adopted by the local legal systems, and then goes on to examine the special case of the province of Buenos Aires and the problems posed by its legal system. Finally, we set out the discrepancies in this area in the local regulations and highlight the desirability of recognising the contested power in the Province of Buenos Aires in the Province of Buenos Aires, in accordance with the concept of municipal autonomy included in the National Constitution after the 1994 reform.
