Inclusive culture: Quality philosophy in higher education.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to identify the perceptions of participants in a public university in Ecuador to promote the necessary reflective conditions, from within the university community, by promoting an inclusive culture; as a means of cohesion and unity for the quality and quality of higher education. The sample consisted of 30 members of an academic unit, composed of academic authorities, teachers, students, public servants and workers. This group was selected randomly. A questionnaire was applied, using the Likert Scale; it consists of 10 items drafted in the affirmative. The basic proceeding followed in this investigation was as follows: (1) select the corresponding dimensions and indicators. (2) prepare the questionnaire with your different items and answer options. (3) select the questionnaire with a sample similar to the target population. (4) review the questionnaire in line with the comments provided by the piloted sample. (5) select the sample randomly. (6) administer the questionnaire. The results show that they correspond to the theoretical bases that were considered and which in turn shape the structure of this research work; ultimately, the inclusion process is a collective task involving all members of the university community, as part of society.
