This is a report of experience experienced by one of the classes of the first edition of EDPOPSUS in the State of Pará, training provided by the Joaquim Venâncio Polytechnic School of Health, Osvaldo Cruz/Fiocruz Foundation and the Secretariat for Strategic and Participative Management/Ministry of Health in the period May to September 2017 in Belvaa PA. The aim was to present the class’s experience during the training process, its practices, experience and transformations from the course proposal. Field activities were developed with the communities of the Family Health Strategy of Belém and Ananindeua on a larger scale but also with participation in the Marajó Family Health Strategy communities. The work has shown a wealth and a huge diversity of cultures and realities of our state through People’s Health Education. Throughout the EDPOPSUS training, changes were observed in the concepts and practices of learners and in relations with other workers, by presenting the field work, in a systematic construction of knowledge, empowerment and critical reflections.
