Abstract
From the theoretical frameworks of the sociology of literature and from the point of view of poetic language, the Camino de Santiago is presented as a great human achievement and as a symbolic construction of Spanish and European society from the depths of the Middle Ages to the late morning. The Santiago road has been a living metaphor of the meeting, a key sign of European consciousness. Specific considerations review the positions of philosophers, theologists, semi-logists and literary creators to present the specific characteristic of jacobey pilgrimage and its itineraries: building a communication system with its own languages, a meaningful religious construct. The trip thus appears as a narrative art and speech, recreated by 1000 exercises of the language produced and in 1000 memory games to constitute an immense accumulation of meaning and meaning.
