Abstract
This Article is part of the R & D project: ‘The aristocratic property in the Nazari Granada and its transfer to Spanish society after the conquest (centuries XIII-XVI)’ (HAR2015-64605-C2-2-P), which in turn is integrated into a coordinated R & D project entitled ‘Alentmunias del Occiente Islamic West’. Part is the study of almunias and other aristocratic properties in al-Ándalus from the archaeological, architectural and documentary perspectives. The objective is the study of almunias and other possibilities of the aristocracy in al-Andalus from an Archaeological, architectural, and documented point of view. For this purpose, an exhaustive search for records have been undertaken in the archives of Granada as well as in other national centres. More, data from publications giving from the nineteen-nineties concerning the monastery has also been used. The income and the location of certain advances donated to the order have been clarified in this study, as well as the monk’s first fifteen years of residence in Granada, showing particular attention to the links between the Hieronymites and the Islamic and Castilian elites.
