Abstract
The article deals with the issue of preparing prospective economists for value-oriented business communication.Purpose: The purpose of the article is to describe the system of preparing prospective economists for value-oriented business communication, as well as reveal its components, functions, principles and specific features.Methodology: analysis, synthesis, comparison, generalization, system-activity approach, axiology approach and competency approach.Results: Value-oriented business communication of economists can be defined as business cooperation for the sake of organizing and optimizing economic activities with respect to humanistic, professional and patriotic values.On the basis of these values, economists choose their manner of behavior and make their decisions. The result of business communication and the ultimate result of professional activities depend on these values. The system includes the contents system, the technological system, the value-orientating system, the diagnostic system. The principles of the system are axiologization of the contents, ascention of the personality needs, actualization of personal experience. The system is characterized by its integrative, dynamic and dialogic character.Practical implications: higher education.
