What are the implications of the arrival of the minor who enters the service? Within the framework of the security strategy called ‘war against drug trafficking’, the emergence of ‘nardeaux chavitos’ has a significant impact on the reconfiguration of the social fabric. This is made visible through a tensioned relationship in which the trim of actors takes place: La Plaza – public security agents – young people (narcotics) and users of illicit substances. In particular, this analysis looks at the young subject who is able to practise narcotics and emphasises the processes of reconstructing subjectivity, changing behaviour and losing institutional legitimacy.
