Active evaluation and improvement of the quality of teaching: methodologies and instimulators.

Abstract

This work presents the results of an innovative activity consisting of carrying out weekly tests or exercises, which have been assessed, corrected and returned to pupils with sufficient annotations and recommendations to avoid the shortcomings committed in the future. A description is given of the methodology used and how, with the information collected, a number of indicators can be generated to assess the overall evolution of the class and to predict the final results. The innovative experience has not been positive because it has led to a significant increase in teaching dedication, without this being rewarded by an improvement in overall academic performance (number of successful candidates and percentage of submitted), although there has been some increase in the average score.
