Abstract
Este study aims to identify characteristics of femicide crimes and passive crimes as a result of toxic relationships by addressing the characteristics of pathological cyúme. The study was carried out on the basis of a bibliographic search, using the deductive method, by collecting various theoretical materials from various authors. Violence against women in all its forms has been observed to be more common in toxic relationships and is an environment in which women are more vulnerable and suffer from pathological cyúme. Passive crime is considered to be intimate femicide. If in the past the criminal acting in this sense was favoured, today the murder under that motivation is the most serious and may be aggravating in specific situations.
